Steps During Fire System Project
System Maintenance After you have installed your system it will require maintenance from time to time. Make sure you allow time for the technician to complete the task you will require of them.
Should you modify either a sprinkler system or air handler systems, we will have to place the fire system in a test mode to insure there is no dispatch in the event a device is triggered.
For all such events just give us a call at (770) 529-5678.
Services Overview

-
Proper Fire System Planning Fire system installation, service and fire system monitoring requires higher licensing and is monitored by the Fire Marshall for your County or municipality. Added layers of oversight are positioned with your safety and the safety of others that might be on your location at the time of a fire should one occur.
When you need a fire system installed, structure prints or floor plans for your structure must be modified and submitted to the authority that has jurisdiction. If you do not have these, you must contact an architect to design them.
The floor plan or prints will contain the power locations and indicate on the print the locations of the devices necessary for your style of building and are also dictated by the use of the buildings. Rottweiler will design a system installation and submit it to the Fire Marshall's office for approval. If changes are necessary, the authority will indicate their concerns for the project or approve the submission.
Once the plan is approved a seal or stamp will be placed on the print. This print must stay on the site location until the project is completed. If the approved set of prints are lost or stolen, another plan must be submitted and the process is started all over again.

-
Installation can now proceed. Rottweiler technicians will install the necessary wiring, devices and associated system hardware and program the fire system.
With installation completed, a fire system inspection is scheduled with the Fire Marshall. If the inspector notices anything that needs modification, they will annotate the modification and another inspection may be scheduled.
Once approved and passed by the Fire Marshall, you may obtain your certificate of occupancy. Rottweiler carries the necessary unrestricted low voltage license necessary to design and implement fire system projects.
Annual Inspections
Each year an inspection needs to be conducted by the Fire Marshall for your office building. During the inspection the Fire Marshall will inspect fire system components with a Rottweiler technician, which must be present to test the fire system devices. This required test, can take a considerable amount of time as each system device is tested.
Annual InspectionYearly Certificates
