SYSTEM INSTALLATION
A professionally installed security system should always be your first concern. Decisions of wired verses wireless, costs and maintenance after the installation are other areas of consideration.
Areas of your home may not allow for a wired security device because of the type of construction your home has. Although the cost for wireless is considerably more, the actual environment may prohibit a cost effective way to install a wire for the device required.
On occasion, wireless security devices require the replacement of batteries. We provide a complete wired and wireless security systems.
Since we also provide a full range of security systems, installation and service, it also makes good sense to have our team install your security solution. Having a licensed Georgia contractor goes a long way when it comes to the installation process.

SMOKE DETECTORS
The greatest advantage to having additional smoke detectors in your home is that if they activate, someone is notified.
People often forget that many homes do not have smoke detectors that notify authorities in the event of a fire. Unfortunately each year many homes are damaged because no one was notified at the initial stages of a fire resulting in greater damages than would have occurred if someone was notified.
ALWAYS TEST YOUR SMOKE DETECTORS AT LEAST TWICE A YEAR.
- Test smoke units during the time changes in the spring and fall.
- Battery operated units should have the batteries replaced twice a year.

CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS
Carbon Monoxide is odorless, tasteless and is a harmful killer that often times leaks in homes. There also can be multiple areas in the home that are often over looked.
You should place detectors next to furnaces, space heaters and any device that uses a fuel that burns.

SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
Like all electronic hardware in your home there are devices that need to be repaired from time to time. Batteries fail, a lightning strike or voltage surge and components do fail.
We offer, at your choice, an additional service agreements that can benefit both you as well as us. Having your system on our maintenance program allows you to have a fixed cost for the maintenance of your system.

CELLULAR BACKUP
If your home is no longer serviced with a land line, or the service is VoIP then cellular backup is necessary for reporting of intrusion, fire or distress communication. Cellular service is just like placing a call by your cell phone except the cellular service is always on.
The added advantage of cellular service is that it insures that authorities are notified in the event of an intruder that has cut your telephone line prior to entry or you do not have a telephone line. The cellular transmitter does not rely on the phone company or telephone line to transmit data.
There is some additional hardware that has to be installed and the cost of the hardware is somewhat pricey because it is a cellular phone transmitter and additional hardware devices. It takes about an hour to install and verify that the service is working properly. Again, you should always check and verify that the security system that you are using is tested once a month to insure that everything is working properly.
Cellular backup is very reliable and we have many clients with this service. For a business, we believe that cellular backup is a great strategy when dial tone providers are questionable in their reliability.
